The Release Rewind (11-8-2009)

What's been released this week on DVD?

Re-Release DVD
All About My Mother (1999)
This emotional story of women, friendship, and transsexuality with an underlying story having to do with the production of A Streetcar Named Desire is back on DVD. From writer-director Pedro Almodóvar, this movie in a Nutshell is mostly about a son, a father, death, women, and prostitution. For some more "heartbreaking, sensitive, honest" type movies check out this list.

Re-Release DVD
Say Anything... (1989)
Often referred to as an ultimate teenage love story, this classic film has been released as a 20th anniversary edition DVD. The Peter Gabriel song, In Your Eyes, forever reminds us of that scene (you know the one I mean). For more "poignant, lovely, infatuation" movies, click here.

Ultimate Collector's Edition DVD
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation(1989)
In a widescreen 20th anniversary ultimate collector's edition DVD comes National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation! Forever hilarious, Chevy Chase, brings non-stop comedy in this "holiday, family, funny" film. It's one that is sure to be watched over and over again. Good old Clark Griswold never fails.
