Happy New Year! Please forgive us for being a bit behind on our posts. The holidays can be an overwhelmingly busy time period. Hopefully everyone took in some great films over the break. Did you watch any good movies with family and friends? Did you give or receive any DVD's as gifts? If so, we'd love to hear about it! Ok without further ado...
What's been released this week on DVD?
10th Anniversary Edition DVD
10 Things I Hate About You (1999)
This 2-disc DVD comes to us in celebration of the film's 10 year anniversary. Julia Stiles and Cameron Fraser star in this movie that's best described as a 90's version of Shakespeare's, The Taming Of The Shrew. This movie in a nutshell is: funny, about school, romance, and a teenager. For more "geeks, popularity, stereotypes" films click here.
Double Feature DVD
Muppets From Space (1999)
The Muppets take Manhattan (1984)
If you were a child or a parent in the 80's it is almost certain you felt the love of the Muppets. And even if not, you were undoubtedly exposed to the art of the late and great Jim Henson. He blessed children and adults alike with so many gifts from the Muppets, to Sesame Street, to Fraggle Rock, to Labyrinth, and The Dark Crystal. His imagination is one that continues to entertain us decades later. Enjoy these two classics!
